Boris Toucas | Fragments of Eternity

Constantly traveling from one country to another as a seasoned diplomat, Boris Toucas has had a rich and fulfilling life. He started drawing, moved by his travels around Australia. Using only an unforgiving ballpoint pen and a small sketchbook, he captures simple yet meaningful moments of daily life, making his work incredibly detailed in an attempt to review the past. 

Fragments of Eternity is the story of a journey, as well as a reflection on the impermanence of special moments, no matter how much we may cherish them. Deeply tied to his personal experience in the country, these detailed drawings are a unique record of an extraodinary life in Australia bristling with little fragments of eternity.
