"My work mainly consists of permanent research through a very personal pictorial writing that defines my creation. By confronting eastern and western traditions, by combining these two different thoughts, by mixing different materials, I try to find a combination that offers a contemporary vision and translates the expression and the evolution of current art."

Based in Paris, WANG works across painting, drawing, and printmaking. This series features intimate works on paper — both circular and rectangular in format — that blend Eastern and Western influences through a refined visual language shaped by ink, pigment, watercolour, and gold leaf. Each composition is contemplative and precise, revealing the artist’s background in decorative arts, engraving, and fine craftsmanship.
WANG’s work has been exhibited internationally at fairs and institutions from New York to Madrid, Montréal to Seoul. In 2022, he was commissioned by Hermès to create a major site-specific artwork for its Shanghai flagship. His works are held in respected public and private collections, including the Bibliothèque nationale de France and several corporate collections in Europe and North America.
