Talea originates from a project by Ronan Bouroullec inspired by the natural world. The name refers to a fragment of a plant specifically cut and repositioned in the soil or water to regenerate missing parts, giving life to a new specimen. The product features elements on the side resembling buds ready to bloom, aiming to strengthen the connection between ceramics and the inspiring nature.
