"These prints were designed in the summer of 2025 as I was spending some days in the south of Italy. As I see them now they remind me of the time spent there, of the festive atmosphere you feel in that period when every little town has a feast dedicated to the saint patron of the city and the streets are decorate with multicolored lights. These drawings are not supposed to illustrate those "luminarie", but they mean something playful and summerlike, different from the mood of what I do in Milan in this period. They are the first prints I did specially for Olivier and I wanted to do something corresponding to my idea of Australia and in a way to the beach culture that I imagine very optimistic!"
